Office Communications Online makes it easy to connect securely by using instant messaging with your colleagues, when paired with the Office Communicator client that is available in Microsoft Office Pro Plus. And, with integration of presence throughout the BPOS Suite, users can see free/busy status before starting a chat or launching another type of communication.Increase productivity by providing easy communication via text-based instant messaging.
It is to be noted that OCS online requires that users also have Office Communicator as a client software-this is available as part of Office Pro Plus or as a standalone product which costs around £30ish! (download a trial here).
OCS Online is £1.67 per user per month, so £20.04 per user per year. Since the November price cut, the price is:
£1.34 per user per month so £16.08 per user per year.
It looks like Office Comms Online (OCO) will soon be getting VOIP features, which is pretty awesome.
